Each dog has unique needs... The approach "one food for all dogs" isn't the more suitable. Dogs have different sizes, different life stages, unique breed characteristics, health conditions and a few other factors... Choosing the right food for your dog may help him or her life a longer and healthier life! We exist to make that task easier for you.

How does the Dog Food Selector work?

It's quite simple... It's a 1-2 step process. You just have to fill in the form with your dog's characteristics, like gender, age, size, activity, health conditions and a few other important data and click "search". Then, you'll see a list of dog foods with the highest review score. If you wish you can see all the detailed review of each individual dog food.

Stella & Chewy’s Recall: Possible Health Risk

July 5, 2015, – Milwaukee, Wis. – Stella & Chewy’s recalled some of its products due to concerns of a possible presence of Listeria Monocytogenes.

The recall was prompted by a positive test confirming Listeria monocytogenes in Chewy’s Chicken Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties for Dogs, 15 ounces, Lot #111-15, during routine surveillance testing.

There has been no reported pet or human illnesses associated with this recall.

Listeria is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

As a precautionary measure, Stella & Chewy’s is voluntarily recalling all products nationwide from Lot # 111-15.

Consumers should look at the lot numbers and UPC codes printed on the bag to determine if it’s subject to the recall.
