What we do not infer
We do not turn a meat percentage, ingredient order or marketing phrase into a scientific quality score. We do not claim that a grain-free, fresh, raw or breed-labelled food is automatically superior. We do not describe commercial marketing terms as our own clinical endorsement.
Compare nutrition on the right basis
UK analytical constituents and US guaranteed minimums or maximums have different meanings. Water also affects percentages. Missing values stay unknown. A precise clinical comparison may need typical analysis or other information directly from the manufacturer.
How the selector works
The catalogue is deliberately limited to named, source-linked products. Matching checks the selected market, food format, adult stage and recorded ingredient exclusions. Breed, weight and activity are context rather than a validated quality ranking. Medical concerns, suspected allergies and puppies stop automatic recommendations. A match is not a guarantee that a food will suit the dog.
Costs and commercial relationships
We publish a price only with enough context to identify the pack, market and observation date. Quotes, membership prices and introductory offers are distinguished.
