Dog food selector

Build a transparent food shortlist from a small, source-linked product catalogue.

Initial catalogue: three dry foods — two UK and one US. This is a label-matching comparison, not a veterinary diet recommendation or a survey of the whole market. It does not score food quality or diagnose allergies.
1 · Tell us about your dog
2 · Dietary considerations

Allergy or medical selections stop automatic matching. Your vet needs to assess therapeutic diets and elimination trials.

Use Ctrl/Cmd to select more than one on desktop. Declared ingredients cannot establish absence of traces. Ambiguous animal ingredients are conservatively excluded when an animal ingredient is avoided.

3 · Your budget

We use 30 days for cost arithmetic. Budget checks require a verified pack price and your entered portion. Missing prices stay unknown; they are never treated as free or within budget. Shipping is excluded. This field does not calculate a feeding recommendation.

How matching works

We filter by country, food format, adult life stage and declared ingredient exclusions. Breed, weight and activity provide context in your summary; they do not create a scientific ranking or override the label. Puppies, medical needs and suspected allergies are referred to a vet. Adult size and maturity vary, so a dog still growing must use the puppy option.

Results are ordered alphabetically by brand, without affiliate weighting. A match means the recorded label passes these filters, not that the food will suit your dog. Nutrition figures use their declared basis; US guaranteed minimums and maximums must not be interpreted as exact UK analytical values.
