Comparison worksheet

Compare the daily cost of two foods using their own pack sizes and portions.

A cheaper bag is not always cheaper per day. Enter prices in the same currency and take each food’s daily amount from its feeding guide or your vet. A different energy density can mean a different gram portion.

Keep these checks beside your result

  • Confirm complete-food labelling and the intended life stage.
  • Use the actual pack price and weight, with discounts and delivery considered separately.
  • Compare food energy and portions on the same basis. A maximum guaranteed moisture figure is not an exact measured value.
  • Do not treat a cost comparison as evidence that a food is clinically suitable.

The tool uses only your entered data. Daily cost = pack price ÷ pack grams × daily grams. Thirty-day cost is daily cost × 30. It does not decide a portion or change a therapeutic diet.
